Synopsis
Sica (14) is obsessed with the idea of the sea returning the body of her father, who disappeared in a shipwreck on the Costa da Morte (Coast of Death) in Galicia. Walking along the cliffs, she meets a teenager, Suso (15), the Storm Chaser, who is as strange as she is, waiting for Ofelia, the mother of all storms, to arrive. Sica investigates the circumstances that led to her father’s death and embarks on a painful journey of discovery. For her, the fishing village where she grew up, marked by the brutality of the ocean and the growing imbalance of nature, will never be the same again.
